BLUE PODIUM

 

Het Blauwe Podium began as an outdoor stage in Delft's city center. Now it travels throughout the country, appearing in the most wonderful locations. The idea is simple: a piano, a Delft Blue stage, and sing! This is how we bring "friendly beauty" outdoors and make the world a more beautiful place. Singing with courage, fun, and love instead of competition.

 

Guus about the Blauwe Podium: "Blue is the color of creativity and Delft, where I live. One night, I dreamed I found a blue stamp on the street. That gave me the idea to start an outdoor stage: the Blauwe Podium.

 

Besides my professional career, I also enjoy working with amateurs. Yehudi Menuhin so aptly said: 'Amare,' a beautiful word, is found in 'amateur' and means 'to love.' When we make music together, that love comes to life. Simply through people, simply through us."
